Healing that goes outside.
Nature-based and equine therapy on private property in the Adelaide Hills.
Most healing happens in a room.
Yours doesn't have to.
There is something that talk therapy cannot always reach. The part of you that holds stress in your shoulders, grief in your chest, or fear in your breath. The part that knows, somewhere, that what you need is not another hour on a couch.
Hills Psychotherapy is an experiential healing practice for people who are ready to try something different. Using horses, land, and the rhythms of the natural world as partners in the process, Holly Stratton guides clients toward emotional freedom through the body as well as the mind.
Situated on private property in Mount George, 20 minutes from the Adelaide CBD.
Equine Assisted Therapy
Ground-based healing with horses. No riding required — just presence, honesty, and the extraordinary capacity of horses to respond to what we cannot always say out loud.
Outdoor Therapy
Therapy sessions held outdoors on Holly's private property in Mount George. Fresh air, open sky, and the quiet of the hills as a container for the work.
Holistic Therapy
Whole-self integration for the mind, body, and soul. Breathwork, visualisation, mindfulness, and emotional regulation — with or without horses.
Mount George, Adelaide Hills.
20 minutes from the Adelaide CBD. Private property. Surrounded by the landscape of the hills.
Facilities include:
State-of-the-art equestrian facilities, indoor and outdoor - allowing sessions to take place in all weather conditions
Calm and responsive, highly schooled, therapy horses
Direct access to the Heysen Trail for nature and hiking-based sessions
A peaceful and private environment that supports healing, growth and empowerment
Holly works with warmth and encouragement, a deep listener while being very open and versatile. She incorporated seamlessly the beautiful horses into an outdoor or indoor therapeutic environment. A wonderful experience I can strongly recommend, especially if traditional room based therapy is not your thing!
